Adrenalin Hub – Buyer Terms and Conditions (the “T&C’s”)
Adrenalin Hub Limited ("AdrenalinHub") issues gift vouchers (“Vouchers”) to its customers via its website (www.adrenalinhub.com) (the “Website”). Each voucher issued by AdrenalinHub entitles the recipient of the Voucher to the experience quoted on the Voucher only.
All Vouchers carry a unique serial number which must be quoted when dealing with AdrenalinHub and its experience operators. Vouchers must be kept safely and securely and should be taken on the day of the experience (if hard copy Voucher) and surrendered to the operator.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the descriptions and pictures contained within the Website and on the Vouchers are a true reflection of the events in respect of which the Voucher may be redeemed, these do not form part of a contract. If on contacting the operator to redeem the Voucher you feel that the activity taking place no longer accurately represents the activity shown on the AdrenalinHub Website, AdrenalinHub will exchange the Voucher or refund the purchase price.
Once a specific date has been booked, you will automatically become bound by the terms and conditions that the individual operator of the experience may have. Please note that experiences are subject to change without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights.
The placing of an order constitutes your acceptance of AdrenalinHub’s T&C’s but does not constitute the creation of a contract. AdrenalinHub reserves the right to decline to process an order for any reason whatsoever. The contract is between you and AdrenalinHub, once we have processed your order and received payment. For the protection of our customers and to ensure that your credit, debit or charge card is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these T&C’s you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected.
If an order cannot be fulfilled for any reason, AdrenalinHub will promptly refund all monies. Duplicate orders are sometimes inadvertently placed or despatched. We ask that you return any duplicates immediately or contact us for further instructions. Should both Vouchers be used, we will be entitled to claim payment for the costs incurred.
Please do not arrive at a venue expecting to redeem your Voucher without first obtaining a booking confirmation letter or number from the operator. AdrenalinHub will not be held liable for your costs incurred if you do not follow the procedure set out in these T&C’sand in your Voucher pack.
All Vouchers are eVouchers as standard which are free of charge unless you select to receive one of our special gift packs at an additional cost. If you select the special gift pack, and place your order before the specific cut off times on a weekday for delivery by Second Class Royal Mail, it will be dispatched the same working day (excluding Bank Holidays). You may request Next Day delivery (for delivery to the UK only) for an additional charge.
AdrenalinHub cannot be held liable for any loss suffered as a result of any goods damaged in the post or any postal delays. The Voucher is invalid if it has been tampered with or defaced. AdrenalinHub accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen Vouchers. Please keep Vouchers in a safe place and protect them as you would money.
Prices & locations
The prices of specific experiences against which Vouchers can be redeemed which are displayed on our Website are correct to the best of our knowledge and maintained on weekly basis. We reserve the right to vary the prices of the experiences which we offer. AdrenalinHub’s current experience prices may differ from the value of your face value Voucher. Locations are correct at the time of going to press but may change or be withdrawn for reasons beyond our control.
Prices shown include V.A.T when and where applicable.
The recipient is free to book their preferred date within the Voucher validity period. Experiences are subject to availability and, in some cases, may be subject to weather conditions (if your experience is weather dependent we advise telephoning the centre before you set out to confirm that the event will take place). To avoid disappointment we recommend that customers book well in advance, at least 6-8 weeks for the majority of experiences. During peak periods it may be necessary to allow a longer notice period although some operators may occasionally be able to fit in a booking at short notice. We recommend booking as early as possible as you must have undertaken your experience before the expiry date printed on the front of your Voucher. We strongly advise that you do not make any travel, accommodation or other arrangements until you have received confirmation of your booking from the experience operator. Once a date has been booked with a supplier your Voucher will be deemed to be used at that point.
Vouchers are valid for up to ten (10) months from date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Please ensure that you book and undertake your experience before the expiration date to avoid disappointment. A Voucher will be deemed to be invalid if it is out of date (the validity date is clearly stated on the Voucher) and no liability will be accepted by AdrenalinHub.
Vouchers can only be extended if they are still inside their expiry date and if the experience is still available from the operator for a standard administration charge of £20 by calling AdrenalinHub on 0203 8685097. If the activity in respect of which the Voucher is to be redeemed has increased in price, the customer will also need to pay the difference in price. Once a Voucher has been extended it cannot be refunded.
Refunds & Returns
We are happy to refund unused vouchers bought directly from the Website within fourteen (14) days of purchase. A refund cannot be given once the booking has been made with the experience provider and you are then bound by their terms and conditions. Refunds can only be made to the purchaser and the monies will be refunded directly to the original method of payment. Please allow between 5 and 10 working days to receive your refund.
Refunds cannot be given on expired, extended or exchanged vouchers. Competition prizes or promotional free gifts cannot be refunded. To request a refund please send your Voucher along with a covering letter explaining the reason for your request to AdrenalinHub at email@example.com.
The cost of returning your Voucher for exchange or refund will not be borne by AdrenalinHub and we strongly recommend that a secure delivery service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery (with postal insurance as appropriate) is used as Vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded until they are received by us.
Duration & Descriptions
Details of event duration, experience descriptions and format given on the Website are illustrative only and shall not be considered binding. Timings may vary depending on the experience and the operator. Session lengths, agendas, vehicles used, numbers of participants and other factors specific to that experience may vary from location to location. Delays, curtailments and breakdowns are not within AdrenalinHub’s control and therefore we cannot be held liable. Please note that we reserve the right to alter any part of the experience where such an alteration has been imposed by the operator. We cannot be held responsible for descriptions by or on any third party or agent sites. Experiences may occasionally be withdrawn for reasons outside of our control, and AdrenalinHub cannot be held liable for any costs incurred as a result of this. Should this occur, you or your recipient will be advised and offered the opportunity to exchange your Voucher for one with the same face value. If alternatives are available, no refunds can be offered.
Safety & Security
The undertaking of these activities may involve some personal risk. With some events you may be required to sign a disclaimer on the day, please read these documents carefully. Some personal insurance policies may not cover some of the experiences in respect of which our Vouchers may be redeemed. Please check with the operator and your insurer well in advance of your day. Note that operators usually require participants to comply with specified safety procedures. Please listen and take note if they ask you to do something - it is usually for your own safety.
AdrenalinHub does not undertake any technical examination of equipment, facilities or services in order to minimise personal risk. The total liability of AdrenalinHub for any claim whatsoever in connection with a Voucher or any experience in respect of which a Voucher is redeemed shall be limited to the price paid for the Voucher. We have tried to ensure that the descriptions and images used on all marketing material are accurate. However, images are intended to give a general idea of the experience described and do not form part of any contract between the purchaser and / or the recipient of the Voucher and AdrenalinHub.
Vouchers are valuable documents and cannot be replaced if they are lost, damaged or stolen and are invalid if altered or tampered with. AdrenalinHub accept no liability in these circumstances.
Most experiences are subject to restrictions. These could include (but are not limited to) age, height, weight, physical and medical restrictions, and may vary from centre to centre so please check before making your booking. Details of these restrictions are available on our Website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you choose an experience appropriate for the intended recipient and it is the responsibility of the recipient to double check that the restrictions are not prohibitive. If you are unsure of the suitability please telephone us and we will be happy to advise you.
Once you have booked a specific date with an operator you are bound by their terms and conditions regarding cancellations. Make sure you understand their rules regarding changing or cancelling a booking (particularly at short notice) as a refund may not be offered. In the unlikely event that one of our operators needs to cancel the experience after you have booked a date, they will contact you. We strongly recommend however, that you contact the operator on the day before you depart for your experience. In the event of cancellation by either the buyer or the operator. AdrenalinHub cannot be held liable for any costs including (but not limited to) lost insurance premiums, travel expenses, pre-booked accommodation costs or any other costs incurred by the participant in the event of a cancellation and AdrenalinHub’s total liability for any claim in connection with an AdrenalinHub experience shall be limited to the price paid for the experience.
AdrenalinHub has contracted agreements with its operators regarding their standard of performance and, where appropriate, operators are registered with their relevant controlling or regulatory bodies. Once a booking has been made with an experience operator the participant is also bound by the terms and conditions of that operator. By purchasing or redeeming an AdrenalinHub Voucher you acknowledge that experiences are dependent on certain factors beyond the control of AdrenalinHub and agree that AdrenalinHub is not liable for the cancellation, postponement or alteration of any experience for reasons beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to weather-related reasons, mechanical failure, location changes or otherwise). If mechanical breakdown should occur you should expect reasonable substitutions without notice. Please note that experiences and other products are subject to change without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Problems on the day
We welcome your feedback on all of our experiences. If you encounter a problem on the day, please immediately bring it to the attention of the host or experience operator at the venue so that they have a chance to put matters right. If you have attempted resolution but the problem was not resolved on the day, please write to us within a week of your experience (providing your Voucher serial number, participant’s name and venue details, including who you spoke to on the day) and we will be happy to take the matter up with the operator on your behalf. All UK and Eire experience operators contract with us to indemnify participating Voucher holders against damage to equipment they use, and against liabilities to third parties, subject to limits and compliance with their rules, terms and conditions, which may vary between operators. Some experience operators may offer additional indemnities at an extra cost. Such indemnities are entirely optional and you are under no obligation to purchase them, as your entitlement to undertake the experience will not be affected if you choose not to accept an additional indemnity. Any additional indemnities purchased from an experience operator will be governed by that operator’s terms and conditions and do not form any part of your contract with AdrenalinHub.
Most operators will allow you to bring spectators to watch you participate in your selected experience. When redeeming your Voucher and booking your date please check with the centre when booking that you can bring spectators. Some operators may make a small charge to cover insurance and/or refreshments. Some venues may have restrictions on spectators due to safety regulations.
The easiest way to resolve any problems that you may experience is to speak to the operator on the day. They will ensure that any issues are rectified. If you are still not satisfied, please send in details of your complaint (including your Voucher reference number and the name of the person you spoke to on the day) to: email@example.com. Discount codes & entitlements
AdrenalinHub reserves the right to exclude any product or experience from discount schemes. Only one discount code may be used per order. Discounts apply to new orders only and cannot be used against exchanges, extensions, money on account, delivery and fulfilment charges or any other facility provided by AdrenalinHub. You may be required to provide evidence of your entitlement to any discount.
Competition prizes, special offers and promotional offers
These may have restrictions including (but not limited to) dates and times of use, validity periods and experience range or content so please be sure to check these before purchasing and telephone our Helpline on 0203 8685097 if you are in any doubt. Competition Prizes, Special Offers and Promotional Offers cannot be refunded or extended unless otherwise specified. (A promotional product refers to a Voucher which was sold at a discounted price or as part of a special offer, whether or not this is stated on the Voucher).
All information provided by you to AdrenalinHub will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Your privacy is our highest priority and your details will only be used to process orders, gather feedback and data regarding our products and services and to send you promotional material (if opted into this service). Sub-contractors may also be used to fulfil tasks on our behalf, included but not limited to points referred to in this section.
All prices shown on AdrenalinHub websites are in GBP and all transactions are conducted in GBP. If ordering from overseas or from a foreign currency account you may be charged fees by your bank to process the transaction. These fees are in addition to any prices on our website and are beyond our control.
Third parties and re-sale
A person who is not named on the face of the Voucher or recorded as the purchaser by AdrenalinHub has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of these T&C’s. A Voucher which has been re-sold (for example, through internet auction sites or by any other means) without our prior consent will be considered invalid. Neither AdrenalinHub nor any of its experience operators will be under any obligation to provide any service. Please note that we have the ability to retain any data that you provide on the Website using, even if you do not complete your registration/transaction by clicking submit/next.
Such contact details and data may be used to contact you to enquire why you did not complete your registration/transaction and improve our online operations.
These T&C’s do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, and are governed by and in accordance with English law. The purchaser of a Voucher and/or the participant in an experience agrees to the jurisdiction of the English courts. All the clauses and sub clauses in AdrenalinHub’s T&C’s are independent of each other. If one clause or sub clause is invalid or unenforceable, this will not affect any other clause or sub clause. These T&C’s are subject to change. The details listed above are the terms and conditions applied to Vouchers and experiences. Your statutory rights are not affected.
